In this guide, we will be taking how to find the serial number and model number of a PlayStation 4. If you have just brought a PS4 or owned one for a while you might want to know the serial or model number.

There are a few reasons why you might want to know the serial/model number. It could be either for keeping a record of it in case your console was to get stolen, lost or perhaps you have phoned up the PlayStation customer services and they are asking for it.

Regardless of the reason why you want to know the serial/model number of your PS4 console, it’s easy enough to find out.

How to find PS4 serial number

1. To find the PS4 serial number location first you need to power off your console

2. Now pull your console out and flip it over and underneath you will see your PS4 serial number under the barcode

How to find PS4 model number

1. Same as above first you need to power off your PS4

2. Now look at the back of your PS4 and you will then find your model version number under the PlayStation 4 text
