This Windows 10 tutorial will show you how to change your Music folder icon and also how to restore it back to default.

If you are customising Windows 10 to look the way you like or are simply bored of the original Windows 10 icons, then you can easily change the icon of the Music folder.

If you do change your mind or want the original Music folder icon back, then you can also restore it with ease. 

****Top Tip****
If you would like to use your own custom icon for the Music Folder then you need to save the image you would like to use in a .ico extension using third-party software

To change the Music Folder icon:

1. Open File Explorer > Right Click Music > Properties > Click on Location Tab > Click on ‘Find Target’

2. Right Click Music > Properties > Click Customise tab > Click ‘Change Icon’ > Select a new icon for your Music folder > Press OK > Press Apply > Press OK

To restore the Music Folder icon to default:

1. Open File Explorer > Right Click Music > Properties > Click on Location Tab > Click on ‘Find Target’

2. Right Click Music > Properties > Click Customise tab > Click ‘Change Icon’ > Click on ‘Restore Defaults’ > Press Apply > Press OK
