[Solved] Diablo 4 Split Screen Co-Op Not Working

Home > Guides > [Solved] Diablo 4 Split Screen Co-Op Not Working

If you are having problems trying to play Diablo 4 beta split-screen, then there is a reason for this. It has been many years since we have had a Diablo game, not including Diablo Immortal the last game was Diablo 3. It was released back in 2012 so fast forward to 2023 and we have Diablo 4.

So far the experience I have had within Diablo 4 has been very enjoyable, and being a fan of the Diablo series this is a good thing. Something that players have been having issues with though, is Diablo 4 split screen Co-Op not working so below I have the reason why.

Diablo 4 Beta Local Co-Op Not Working

The reason why you are having issues with Diablo 4 couch Co-Op is because the game is currently in beta and this does not mean it is a Demo, it actually means the game is in testing. So it is going to have problems, which the devs can then fix for the release of the game.

Blizzard have also said that there is a problem with the second player “Player 2 may experience issues joining games with a pre-existing hero while playing couch co-op during the Prologue.” You can find the article here.

Another reason is because the servers are getting huge queue times so the second player could just be stuck in the queue, waiting to join into the game so you will have to be patient.

Conclusion

So for now we will have to be patient and wait for the developers at Blizzard, to fix Diablo 4 split-screen couch Co-Op not working on your PlayStation or Xbox. Until then enjoy the game in single player mode, or you will just have to keep trying to play splitscreen.
