How to Restore Web Access After Using Internet Lock

Internet Lock can be turned off at any time from inside Blocker Web.

Turning it off removes the Windows Firewall rules created by the feature and restores normal web access.

To restore web access:

  1. Open Blocker Web.
  2. Select Internet Lock from the left menu.
  3. Click the option to unblock or restore web access.
  4. Wait for Blocker Web to remove the firewall rules.

A confirmation message will appear when web traffic has been allowed again.

The Internet Blocked notice near the top of Blocker Web should also disappear.

Test Your Connection

After turning Internet Lock off:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Visit a website you normally use.
  3. Open a second website in a new tab.

Web access should now work normally.

If the browser still shows an older connection message, close and reopen it before testing again.

Check Normal Website Blocking

Internet Lock and the normal Blocked Websites feature work separately.

If most websites are available but one particular website remains blocked:

  1. Open Blocked Websites.
  2. Check whether the domain is still in your list.
  3. Check whether normal website blocking is set to ON.

Turning Internet Lock off does not remove individual websites from your block list.

Administrator Permission

Blocker Web may ask for administrator permission when removing the firewall rules.

If needed:

  1. Close Blocker Web.
  2. Right-click the shortcut.
  3. Select Run as administrator.
  4. Open Internet Lock.
  5. Select the restore web access option again.
