This Windows 10 tutorial will show you how to join your PC to a domain in Windows 10.

Windows domains provide you with a way to manage a number of computers and laptops and control them from one place.

Domains are generally made up of computers on the same local network.

Change your computer name to make life easier to identify your PC on the domain

To join a domain in Windows 10:

1. Open File Explorer > Right-click “This PC” > Click Properties > Under “Computer name, domain and workgroup settings” click “Change settings”

2. Ensure you are on the “Computer Name” tab > Click “Change” > Under “member of” select domain > Input your domain name (you will need admin details of the domain to join)

3. Once ready click ok > Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
