System Start Up Default Operating System

In this Windows 10 post, we will be showing you how to change your default operating system on your PC or laptop.

If you have more than one Windows operating system installed on your PC or Laptop then you might want to change which operating system is your default, so you don’t have to keep selecting your OS when your turn your computer on. Luckily for us, Windows 10 allows us to do just that so below we have written the steps for changing your default operating system.

Changing Which Operating System Loads First When Turning On Computer:

1. First open the start menu and search “View Advanced System Settings” and open it

2. Once open now click the “Advanced” tab > Under System “Start-up and Recovery” click the “Settings” button

3. You will now see the setting under “System start-up” which you will see your default operating system

4. Change your default operating system by clicking the dropdown and selecting which one you would like to be your default

That’s it you have now changed your default operating system in Windows 10 and you no longer need to keep selecting your favourite operating system when you turn on your computer and it will just launch the OS that you have selected.
