If you are lucky enough to have jumped into Fortnite without getting a server connection issue, then you have probably already noticed that is there is no build mode. This may come as a shock especially if you are a skilled builder in the Fortnite game, and it is going to be harder to defend yourself against other players!
Why Is Fortnite Building Missing?
At the moment building in Fortnite Chapter 3 (Season 2) has only been disabled by Epic Games for a few days. It will eventually return so in the meantime, you better find some good cover within Fortnite as building will not help you for now!
We are still not sure if we like Fortnite Battle Royale without building mode, but it has definitely made the game interesting. However, the thing that makes Fortnite stand out against all those other battle royale games is being able to build.
If you are missing not being able to build in Fortnite Chapter 3 too much then you can always play Arena Mode for the time being until building is returned. Or purchase and try out Fortnite Save The World. But if you are like us then you like the Fortnite free game.
When Will Build Mode Return to Fortnite?
Building in Fortnite will return in around 9 days, so you will only have to wait a few days until you can use build mode in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
Epic Games have taken away building as part of the new Fortnite season storyline. So we will have to beat the imagined order to remove the “cannot build right now” message that you will see when trying to build.
