Horizon 5 hot wheels turn crosshair off

In this guide, we will be taking a look at how you can turn off the Hot Wheels crosshair in Forza Horizon 5 on your PC or Xbox. When it comes to playing Hot Wheels in Horizon 5 it can be very fun blasting around the orange and blue tracks doing loops, going down flumes, and going super fast using the boosts! But one thing that we found a little distracting when racing around the tracks in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is the crosshair or roll indicator in the center of the screen. Luckily this can be turned off on your PC or Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.

What is Horizon 5 Hot Wheels?

Hot Wheels is the first expansion pack added to the Forza Horizon 5 game. And although it was an expansion that was added to Forza Horizon 3, we actually prefer this version. The graphics are stunning, and we love the feel of how the cars blast around the track. Especially the Deora 2 which drifts amazingly around the water tracks! Not to mention being above Mexico in the clouds is kind of weird, especially if you go off the edge of the map.

How to turn off crosshair/roll indicator in Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels

Below are the steps for turning off the crosshair in the FH5 Hot Wheels expansion, so you will no longer see the yellow and white angled indicator displayed in the middle of your screen. The steps are the same for both Xbox and PC.

1. Launch Forza Horizon 5 and join the game

2. Open the main menu (Press 3 lines on Xbox controller and Esc on PC)

3. Go across to the Campaign tab along the top menu > Select Settings

Forza Horizon 5 main menu settings selected

4. Go down to Accessibility and then scroll all the way down to “Hot Wheels Roll Indicator” > Toggle to OFF > Save your settings

5. If you return back to the game you will notice the crosshair/indicator is no longer showing

We hope the above guide has helped you turn off the crosshair in Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels. If you decide that you would like the Hot Wheels roll indicator back on, then you can do the above steps again and just toggle it back to ON.
