How to fix Redfall Multiplayer coop not working

Method 1: Unlock the safe house

Before hosting or joining an online coop game, first reach the safe house and unlock it.

Once you have unlocked the first safe house in the game, you can now try joining your friends or hosting an online game.

Once you have unlocked the safe house make sure the game has been saved, then return to the main menu where you can host or join an online game.

Method 2: Play with players using same device

Because Redfall has currently got many bugs and issues, play with friends and players that are using the same device as yourself.

So do not use crossplay until a patch is released that resolves a lot of the buggy/crashing problems with Redfall multiplayer.

For example, if you are playing on a PC only play with other players that are playing on a PC.

For now, that’s about all you can do when it comes to fixing Redfall multiplayer not working on an Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. I hope one of the methods has helped and you can now enjoy playing Redfall with your friends or random players online, battling it out against the vampires.
