Hide 3D Objects Folder From This PC Menu

When you open up File Explorer on your Windows 10 PC or laptop, you may have noticed that you have a 3D objects folder.

This is usually situated under This PC and will be above your Desktop folder.

The 3D objects folder is basically a folder that any 3D projects you work on will be saved to by default. So for example, if you are using an app such as Paint 3D your 3D items and projects will be saved in this folder.

If you are not interested in being a 3D designer and know that you just simply won’t need to use this folder then you can easily remove it.

By doing the below steps you won’t be permanently deleting the 3D Objects Folder, you will just be hiding it so that it does not show in your Windows 10 File Explorer.

****Top Tip****
Once you have removed the 3D objects folder you will still be able to open the folder again if you needed to access it for some reason. To do this just simply type the directory below into your Windows 10 File Explorer address bar and press enter, and the folder will open:

3D Object Folder directory: C:\Users\%username%\3D Objects
