How To Update Drivers For Your PC Hardware Through Windows 10 Device Manager
Update Hardware Drivers
This Windows 10 tutorial will show you how to update your hardware through Device Manager on your PC. If for some reason Windows 10 hasn’t automatically installed or detected an update for one of your hardware drivers then you can upgrade it manually by using the Windows Device Manager. It is a really helpful and important tool that will display all of your hardware devices that are installed on your PC.
Device Manager is a quick and easy way to see if you have the latest hardware drivers installed, it’s not always 100% up to date so you may need to check and download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
Follow these steps (we will be using Display Adapters as an example):
1. Right click the Windows 10 start menu icon > Device Manager > Open Device Manager
3. Expand drop-down menu next to Display Adapters
4. Right click on graphics card > Properties > Driver > Update Driver
5. PC will search online and scan for updates. (If there are any it will tell you)
