Stop Computer Displaying Operating Systems At System Boot

In this Windows 10 post, we will be taking a look at how you can turn off the list of operating systems on your PC or laptop.

When you turn on your system if you have more than one Windows operating system installed then by default Windows will show a list of the operating systems that you have installed on your computer. This then allows you to choose which one you would like to boot into, so below we have listed the steps for hiding this list.

Disable Operating List When Turning On Computer:

1. Open the start menu and search “View advanced system settings

2. Click on the Advanced tab > Under “Start-up and Recovery” click the “Settings” button

3. Now untick “Time to display list of operating systems” then click “OK

That’s how you remove the display of operating systems when you turn on your computer. If you have more than one OS your computer will boot into your default operating system which you can view how to change here.
