Fix No Taskbar In Windows 10 Tablet Mode

In this post, we will be showing you how to enable the taskbar for tablet mode.

If for some reason the taskbar is missing at the bottom of your screen when you enter into Windows 10 tablet mode, then the most likely reason behind this is because the “automatically hide the taskbar” setting is enabled. But just in case this is not the reason then ensure your Windows 10 is up to date otherwise you might need to reset Windows 10 to resolve the taskbar missing in tablet mode.

Taskbar Missing In Windows 10 Tablet Mode:

1. Ensure Windows 10 is up to date:

  • If in Desktop mode right-click on the start menu and click on Settings
  • If in Tablet mode tap in the bottom left corner and select the settings cog to open “Settings
  • Now click “Update & Security” > Now click the “Check for updates” button

2. Stop the taskbar automatically hiding in tablet mode:

  • If in Desktop mode right-click on the start menu and click on Settings
  • If in Tablet mode tap in the bottom left corner and select the settings cog to open “Settings
  • Now go onto “System” then in the left menu select “Tablet
  • You now need to click “Change additional tablet settings
  • Under “Automatically hide the taskbar” toggle to Off

There you have it that’s how you can fix the taskbar not showing in Windows 10 tablet mode. Like we said above if the methods did not restore the taskbar then you might unfortunately need to reset Window 10.
