But if you are struggling to get Digimon to work due to it crashing in cutscenes or during battles, then there are a few things you can do that should help and we have listed different methods below.

Why does Digimon Survive keep crashing on PC?

There can be many reasons why the game is crashing on your computer. It could be due to something within the background of your computer conflicting with the game causing it to crash, not having the latest driver installed for your GPU, or it could even be one of the game’s files have become corrupt or missing.

How to fix Digimon Survive crashing issues

Below is a list of different methods that you can do to fix the game on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC or laptop. You will need to do each method until one resolves the issue you are having.

Fix 1: System requirements

If your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to play the game then you won’t be able to play it, and it will crash. We have listed the requirements below.

  • Processor: Intel Core i3-6300 / AMD FX-4350
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 / AMD Radeon HD 7850

Fix 2: Update Windows

If Windows is not up to date then this can cause many issues.

  • Right-click Start menu icon > Settings
  • Select Update & security and then click on Check for updates

Fix 3: Update the graphics driver

Ensure you have the latest driver installed for your graphics card.

Fix 4: Run as admin

Running the game as an admin can help. Find the games shortcut either on your desktop or within the Windows Start menu, then right-click on it and select Run as administrator.

Fix 5: Run Disk Clean-up

If you have not done a clean-up on your computer in a while then it could be full of old junk files causing issues, so use Windows Disk Clean-up to check:

  • Open start menu and search Disk Clean-up and open it
  • Now select your C Drive and click OK
  • Choose all the locations you would like to clean then click OK then Delete Files

Fix 6: Swap user profile

Try using a different user profile on your computer in case its a problem with the profile you are signed in with. If you don’t have another profile then create a local user in Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Fix 7: Check game files

If one of the Digimon Survival game files has become corrupt or missing then this is going to cause crashing. Luckily we can check this within Steam:

  • Open Steam and find Digimon Survival in the game Library
  • Right-click on the game and then go to Properties
  • Click on Local Files from the left menu > Then select “Verify integrity of game files…..

Make sure nothing else is running in the background before launching the game as it could be conflicting causing Digimon to crash.
